Elysian Awakening of Powerful Spring is a vibrant tribute to the transformative power of women in contemporary art, curated by Sara Serpilli and Marina Baisel.
More than an exhibition, it is a celebration of female resilience, creativity, and vision — an invitation to experience the energy and nuance that women bring to the artistic world.
With a thoughtfully curated selection of works, the exhibition delves into the layered dimensions of womanhood — strength and softness, memory and myth, silence and voice. The curators’ intentional choice to feature only women artists is a powerful statement: a call to rebalance representation and amplify voices that have long been sidelined in art history.
Spanning generations and cultures, the collection brings together both established and emerging talents. Renowned artists like Fatma Latooh and Barbara Duran explore identity and transformation through texture, light, and abstraction. Rising voices such as Sara and Zeina offer bold reinterpretations of cultural heritage, bridging past and present with striking clarity. Natalie’s immersive installations turn space into sanctuary — a place for reflection, healing, and inner reconnection.
For centuries, women have often been portrayed in art as muses, but not as authors. Elysian Awakening reclaims this narrative, positioning the woman not just as subject, but as creator. It honors the growing collective of female artists
who are reshaping and redefining the artistic landscape.

Barbara Duran
With a keen focus on texture and materiality, Duran’s innovative use of mediums reflects the emotional and physical experiences of women. Her works explore themes from motherhood to personal empowerment, inviting contemplation on the complexities of womanhood. Her artwork will be presented for the first time in Dubai in partnership with Sara Serpilli.
