Barbara Duran

Italian artist of cosmopolitan origin, Duran works through multiple mediums such as painting, photography, and video art. She began exhibiting in 1990 in collective exhibitions as well as personal ones both in Italy and abroad. Her works are present in both private and public collections. 

She is an Art educator.

She is artistic director with Corrado de Grazia of Studio Urbana, Spazio Indipendente di Produzione Culturale, open since 2007 as an exhibition space. She has curated personal and collective exhibitions collaborating with public institutions and art galleries, specializing in art services, catalogues, and art publishing. 

About Duran’s work have written many esteemed intellectuals and artists. La Danza and Vuelo en Refleio, short film in super8 (2006/2007) have been projected in preview in Rome.

Non Mi Lasciare 

Medium-length film in super8 and video (2009), with the patronage of Sulmona Cinema, projected in Rome and in Sulmona during the exhibition Dimora del Tempo. 

Il Buio 

Animation film, created as part of the Corso di Formazione for Animation Techniques for Cinema, presented at the Festival di Lucca, 1982.
